About Me

Fiora Lumbroso is a self-taught Paris-based photographer drawn to what the eye tends to miss — the undercurrents running through places, faces, and the natural world. Her practice weaves together documentary, visual poetry, and abstraction, with a strong preference for analog photography, lifting overlooked moments from the everyday into images that blur the boundary between reality and something altogether more elusive.

Her work spans both editorial and artistic collaborations: with musicians and artists (Moonshine, Hugo Drubay, record label Demi-Monde, Celia Wa, Carly Blackman), publications (Pan African Music, Côté Paris), and modeling agencies (Supreme Management Paris).

In 2025, her series Abstractions éphémères was exhibited for a month at Sunbath Lab in Paris. That same year, she placed among the top six finalists out of over 1,000 entries in a photography competition around the theme of “Change,” organized by the Hoepfner Stiftung — her work featured in the exhibition catalog and shown in Germany. In 2026, she was selected to be part of The Color of Noise, a collective photography book published by Ephémère Tokyo, to be released in May at the Kyoto Photo Fair, and was also selected for a second collective photobook published by Lyricalmyrical Books, based in Toronto.
